Welcome to Russell K9! We are a Christian based company located along the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. We serve all of Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. We believe every dog deserves a chance at their best life. That’s where we come in. We train dogs and teach owners so they can truly enjoy their dog’s. We have over a decade of experience ranging from training Military Working Dogs in the Marine Corps, Law Enforcement K9s and 100s of pets. Training packages

2 week in home Board and Train

With this program the dog will learn the following commands- come, sit, place, heel, down, house manners, food manners, leash manners and we will work on any unwanted behaviors. During your dogs stay you will receive videos and/or picture updates of their training. All of the training is done in the trainers home and around their neighborhood. After training is complete we will teach you how to handle and maintain your dog with their newly learned obedience. This program comes with a lifetime guarantee, meaning we will work with you and your dog after the program if any problems or concerns arise. This program is priced at $2100. It is half down to reserve training dates.

2 week out in public board and train

Our most popular program. This program is similar to the in home board and train. The difference is the second week we will be taking your dog out in public working on the obedience around real world distractions. We recommend this program for owners wanting a well mannered pup out in public. This program is $2700. It is half down to reserve dates.

3 week board and train

This program can be for advanced training or for dogs that you believe requires extra time or repetitions. This program is also suited for dogs that need behavioral work, have a bite history with people or other animals or dogs that have extreme reactivity to people, animals or objects. During this program we will teach your dog the same commands as our 2 week program along with your choice of two advanced commands. We can tailor the training to fit you and your dogs exact needs. This program is $3800. It is half down to reserve training dates.

Lesson Program

One on one private lessons where we meet with you and teach you how to train your own dog! This program is priced considerably lower. You must be able and willing to put the time, work, and proper repetition in with your dog. You must have patience for our private lesson program. This program is $550 for our basic package which includes 4 lessons. It is an additional $100 for every lesson after the first 4 sessions.

Puppy Program

Most people underestimate how important the puppy stage is. This is when your puppy needs to learn how to grow into a happy confident dog. During this program we will go over potty training, crate training, leash training, proper environmental exposure, house manners and start an intro to obedience. This program is for dogs under the age of 6 months old. This program is priced at $100 per one hour session.

Wow!! I wish there were words to even explain... we love our Frenchie but he ran the house. Kody did an amazing job with not only training Bruno but also training me. We just finished the 4-week basic course with Jocksan and we are amazed at the transformation in our 6 month old pup. She does great with all her commands and we have even started doing some off leash work, which I NEVER would have attempted before taking these classes. Chopo is a big boy and I need to be in control in public ! Jocksan was amazing, he kept me updated daily on his progress. I enjoyed the videos, saw progress in every one I was blown away !
When it came time to pick him up and learn myself , Jocksan explained everything to me and made sure I understood how the e collar worked .
I would highly recommend Jocksan !!!!!

I highly recommend trainer Kody Russell. We sent our 2 year old Great Danes. They were both fear reactive. We were very anxious about how they would do. To say he had his hands full would be an understatement. Kody did an amazing job with them (and us 😊). The communications and updates were excellent. The results are truly life changing for us.
